Ukraine is completing preparations for the autumn-winter season amid the constant threat of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. According to the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development, 13,421 invulnerability points have already been prepared in the country, which should provide citizens with access to electricity, heat, communications and basic services in case of emergencies.
Of this number, approximately 9,000 points operate continuously, receiving people every day, while another 4,500 are ready to be opened quickly if necessary - for example, in the event of large-scale power outages or heat supply disruptions. Such centers were created to support the population during crisis situations, in particular as a result of enemy attacks on critical infrastructure.
All invulnerability points are equipped with generators, heating, Internet access and drinking water supplies. In addition, there is an opportunity to recharge phones, get hot drinks and basic medical care. As the Ministry of Development emphasized, the facilities are constantly checked for readiness to operate under extreme load conditions.
You can find out the exact location of the points using the “Diya” application — in the “Nezlamnist” section, as well as on the “Nezlamnist” portal and official websites of local governments. There, users can view the nearest points, their operational status, and the availability of necessary resources.
The ministry emphasizes that such preparation is extremely important, as Russia continues daily shelling of critical infrastructure and logistics facilities. Ukrainian repair and emergency services are promptly eliminating the consequences of the attacks, but the security situation remains difficult.
The result of another large-scale missile and drone attack carried out on the night of October 22 was emergency power outages in Kyiv and most regions of the country. At the same time, as reported by the Ministry of Development, water supply is operating on reserve power sources, and heat is supplied as planned - primarily to social institutions that are already connected to heating. Public utilities are gradually stabilizing the situation in order to provide citizens with the necessary conditions even in the most difficult circumstances.
Thus, the system of invincibility points remains a key element of the country's civil defense, allowing Ukrainians to receive support in the event of prolonged power outages. The authorities emphasize that the readiness of these points is a guarantee of the security and resilience of communities at a time when the country is once again preparing to survive the winter under shelling.
