    Regular alcohol consumption to "relieve stress" can lead to chronic depression. The body gradually becomes accustomed to the external stimulus, while internal coping mechanisms weaken. Over time, it becomes increasingly difficult to cope with negative emotions without alcohol, creating a vicious cycle of addiction.

    Experts recommend seeking alternative ways to relieve stress during periods of emotional stress. Physical activity, walks in the fresh air, meditation, and creative pursuits help reduce cortisol levels and normalize emotional states without harming the body.

    It's important to understand that abstaining from alcohol during depression is not a temporary measure, but a way to protect mental health. This approach helps restore balance, strengthen emotional resilience, and reduce the risk of developing chronic mental disorders, improving long-term quality of life.
