The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has adopted a resolution defining the legal basis for the implementation of the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Moldova on mutual recognition of educational documents and academic degrees. This step will be an important stage in ensuring educational and professional mobility of citizens of both countries.

According to the press service of the Ministry of National Unity of Ukraine, the agreement will allow citizens of the two countries to freely use their diplomas and academic degrees in another state. "This is only the first step towards a broader process of document recognition and support for our citizens on both sides of the border. Ukrainians will be able to study, work and realize themselves more easily without bureaucratic obstacles," said Oleksiy Chernyshov, Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine - Minister of National Unity.

In addition, documents confirming the assignment of qualification categories and pedagogical titles for education workers will be recognized. This is an important innovation that opens up new opportunities for teachers from both countries.

The signed agreement is of great importance for the development of cooperation between Ukraine and Moldova, as it creates new opportunities for citizens in the field of education, employment and professional mobility. Citizens of the two states will now be able to realize their educational and career ambitions without any problems in the territory of the neighboring country.

Previously, Ukraine was already a party to the Lisbon Convention, which significantly simplifies the process of recognizing diplomas of higher education institutions among the countries that signed this agreement. Thanks to these initiatives, Ukrainians have the opportunity to work and study in many countries of the world without additional formalities.

Thanks to the agreement with Moldova, Ukrainians and Moldovans now have even more opportunities to develop their professional and educational paths, which will contribute to the deepening of cooperation between the two states and the strengthening of their ties.
