Ukrainian FPV drones successfully passed field tests: hardy, accurate and resistant to electronic warfare

Ukrainian engineers continue to improve unmanned technologies for defense needs. At the field, a team of developers from the Brave1 platform tested new small FPV bomber drones. During the test, 14 drones performed combat missions at a distance of 10 kilometers, being under the active influence of electronic warfare (EW) equipment, and were able to successfully return to base.

This was reported by the press service of the Brave1 platform, which unites defense technology developers. According to them, the drones demonstrated not only endurance in EW conditions, but also the ability to accurately perform combat missions. Each of them dropped ammunition on a conditional target, which allows us to speak of high guidance accuracy.

Particular attention during the tests was paid to such parameters as payload, flight duration and general ease of use. The copters coped with the transportation of payloads up to 3 kilograms, which makes them effective for delivering explosive devices and other ammunition in combat conditions.

It is also emphasized that these drones are reusable: after completing the task, they can be returned and reused. This significantly increases their value in the combat zone, where each drone launch has a justified price and tactical effectiveness.

Unlike popular Chinese models, in particular Mavic, Ukrainian FPV drones have a significant cost advantage. Due to local production, their price is significantly lower, which allows providing the army with a larger number of copters with the same budgets.

Small FPV bombers play a critical role on the battlefield, especially in conditions of intense electronic warfare (EW) countermeasures from the enemy. Thanks to such successful tests, Ukraine is approaching technological autonomy in the field of drones and strengthening its defense capabilities with modern means.
