Delicious lasagna with meat and sauce

Lasagna is one of those dishes that perfectly combines rich taste, nutritional value and satiety. To prepare this dish, we will need the following ingredients:

A pack of lasagna pasta
Minced meat - 600-700 g
Canned tomatoes or tomato sauce - 500 g
Onions - 3 pcs.
Garlic - 3 cloves
Carrots - 2 pcs.
Milk - 700-800 g
Butter - 100 g
Flour - 100 g
White pepper, ground black pepper, salt - to taste
Hard cheese (Gouda) - 350 g
Parmesan - 80 g
Olive oil
First, you should prepare all the ingredients. Finely chop the onion and garlic and fry in olive oil until soft. When the mixture turns golden, add the grated carrots and minced meat. Mix well and season with salt and pepper. Continue frying until the minced meat turns golden.

After this, you can add the canned tomatoes. Use a blender to chop them a little and pour them into the pan with the meat. Leave to simmer until the sauce thickens. At this time, start preparing the béchamel sauce.

For the sauce, melt the butter in a saucepan, add the flour and fry a little over low heat. Gradually pour in the milk, stirring constantly to avoid lumps. Cook until the sauce thickens. Finally, add salt and pepper to taste.

Now you can assemble the lasagna. Put a layer of lasagna pasta in a greased form. It is important to note that it is not necessary to pre-boil the pasta - it will soften enough from the sauce and meat filling. The next layer is minced meat with tomatoes, evenly spread the béchamel sauce on top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Repeat the layers until all the ingredients are gone. The top layer should be pasta covered with sauce and sprinkled with parmesan. Bake the lasagne in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 30-40 minutes until golden brown. The result is a flavorful and filling dish that will be an excellent choice for lunch or dinner.
