High-quality cleansing is the basis of healthy skin and one of the most important stages of daily care. Even when you come home tired, you should not neglect this stage. After all, cleansed skin is less susceptible to inflammation and irritation. A simple habit of devoting just a few minutes in the morning and evening helps to preserve its youth and beauty.

The main task of cleansing is to remove impurities that accumulate on the skin during the day. Dust, city exhaust, cosmetics create a dense layer on the face that disrupts the natural balance of the skin. If you neglect cleansing, the skin loses its radiance, pores become clogged, which over time can lead to more serious problems, such as acne or dermatitis.

Cleansing not only removes makeup and dirt, but also helps the skin better absorb the active components of subsequent care products. If you apply a cream or serum to poorly cleansed skin, their effectiveness will be significantly lower. A light massage during cleansing also improves blood circulation, filling the cells with energy and helping the skin look fresh and rested.

It is believed that the face should be cleansed twice a day - in the morning and in the evening. Evening cleansing is especially important, since a lot of dirt accumulates on the skin during the day. It is better to cleanse the face immediately upon returning home to prevent dust and microparticles from penetrating deeper into the pores. Morning cleansing can be lighter: enough water or toner to refresh the skin.

The choice of cleansers also plays a key role. Today, the market offers foams, gels, milks and oils for any skin type. For example, foaming gels are suitable for oily and combination skin, and soft oils and creams are suitable for dry and sensitive skin, which not only cleanse but also protect the skin from drying out.

Excessive cleansing can damage the skin barrier, depriving it of the natural fats necessary for hydration and protection. Squeaky cleansing removes not only impurities but also lipids, which leads to dryness, irritation and additional sebum production. After cleansing, the skin should remain smooth and soft, without a feeling of tightness.

The right technique also matters. Apply the product to the face and neck, massaging the skin in circular motions to improve blood circulation. Use room temperature water: hot water can cause redness, and cold water will make deep cleansing difficult. If the tap water is too hard, it is useful to wash with boiled water or use a toner for moisturizing.
