Ukraine and Greece reached an important agreement on irregular transportation

Ukraine and Greece have reached an important agreement, which provides for the issuance of 100 permits for irregular transportation between the countries. This decision will allow Ukrainian carriers to plan routes directly to the final destination in Greece, bypassing transfers to foreign buses.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure of Ukraine. It is noted that last year Ukrainian carriers did not have permits for non-regular transportation to Greece, which created significant difficulties in logistics.

"The lack of permits significantly limited the possibilities of our carriers, especially given that bus transportation has become a priority mode of transport due to the lack of air connections," said Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure Serhii Derkach. "This year, we reached an agreement on 100 permits for irregular transportation. We are working to increase this number and provide comfortable and safe conditions for transportation," he added.

Derkach emphasized that the new permits will allow Ukrainian carriers to avoid the need to transfer passengers to foreign buses, which will greatly simplify logistics and improve service. This will also help to reduce the cost and time of transportation.

According to the information of the Ministry of Infrastructure, next week the forms of the relevant permits will be available for ordering at the State Transport Safety Service. This means that Ukrainian carriers will be able to quickly take advantage of new opportunities to improve their routes.

This agreement opens up new prospects for the transport industry of Ukraine, ensuring greater mobility and integration with European countries. Further efforts will be aimed at expanding the number of permits and improving conditions for carriers, which will contribute to the development of international transportation.
