According to Opendatabot, since the start of the full-scale invasion, more than 278,000 changes have been made to the Unified State Register, almost 80% of which occurred in 2023. The main among them were changes in the management of companies and their registration addresses.

The most frequent changes concerned the appointment of new directors in enterprises (41% of all changes), which indicates an active movement in the management of businesses during an unstable economic situation. In addition, 39% of cases changed their registered addresses, which is a significant number that reflects the adaptation of companies to new conditions.

"Only last year, 220.9 thousand registration changes were recorded, which is almost equal to the figures of 2021. In 2022, this figure decreased to 57 thousand, which is only 20% of the total volume of changes since the beginning of the invasion," experts say.

Over the past year, there has been a significant increase in changes in company registration addresses by 46%. Business conditions are changing qualitatively, which is reflected in their geographical location.

"Due to the restriction of access to open data, many companies and banks have lost the opportunity to update their customer bases. However, the obligation to update information remains with the banks in accordance with the requirements of the National Bank of Ukraine," the analytical department of "Opendatabot" emphasizes.

In general, the changes in the Unified State Register reflect the dynamics of the development of the Ukrainian business environment during a period of severe trials for the country's economy.
