The government has approved a two-year experimental project for the introduction of e-TTN for domestic freight transportation

The Ukrainian government has approved a two-year experimental project on the introduction of an electronic waybill (e-TTN) for domestic freight transportation. The corresponding decision was made during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on May 30.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure. The implementation of e-TTN is aimed at simplifying the document flow, increasing the transparency of freight transportation, and fighting against illegal carriers on the territory of Ukraine.

The electronic waybill format will help minimize the use of paper documents and speed up the exchange of information between participants in the transportation process. Thanks to this, the burden on logistics companies and control bodies will be significantly reduced.

Over the next two years, the Ministry of Infrastructure plans to implement a project that involves the integration of the e-TTN system with other state information resources. Their electronic interaction will also be tested to ensure uninterrupted data exchange.

The integration of e-TTN with existing state systems includes, in particular, the system of weighing in motion (WIM), a single register of goods and transport invoices for the movement of alcoholic beverages, a single state system of electronic wood accounting and information systems of Ukrtransbezpeka.

The project involves not only the Ministry of Infrastructure, but also other state bodies, such as the State Service for Transport Safety, the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the National Police, the State Tax Service, the Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Infrastructure, the State Service for issues of food safety and consumer protection, and SE "Industrial Center for Digitalization and Cybersecurity".

Participants of domestic freight transportation can join the e-TTN system at their own request. For this, it is necessary to contact the operators of electronic document circulation platforms, who will provide support and advice on the implementation of the new system.
