Fish okroshka: fresh flavor in every spoonful

This recipe uses hot-smoked mackerel, giving the dish a neutral and sweetish flavor.

Ingredients:

300 g of hot smoked mackerel
1 liter of bread kvass
3 fresh cucumbers
5 radishes
2 boiled potatoes
1 tsp. mustard
1 tsp. capers
5 sprigs of green onion
salt, pepper - to taste
sour cream for serving
Recipe:

After cutting the mackerel into pieces and getting rid of the bones, cut fresh cucumbers, potatoes and radishes into small cubes.

For the dressing, mix green onions with salt and pepper in a mortar, add mustard and capers.

Pour kvass over fish and vegetables. Add the prepared dressing and mix thoroughly. Finish the dish with sour cream. Serve the okroshka chilled.

Freshness of ingredients and a light note of mackerel smoking will make this soup an irresistible option for your menu on hot summer days.
