A recent study by scientists at the University of Hannover raises the alarming question of the cardiovascular effects of drinking strong tea.
Whether it's green tea or black tea, it turns out that drinking it regularly can lead to tachycardia and high blood pressure, especially if the tea is sweet. Surprisingly, green strong tea, rich in bioactive substances, turns out to be even more harmful compared to black tea.
Black tea, according to experts, becomes especially dangerous for those who take aspirin or other anticoagulants, as it can cause additional problems with the blood clotting system. In addition, high concentrations of tea, especially hot tea, can instantly excite the nervous system and blood vessels, which is not recommended for people with fever, as it will only make it worse.
The results of the study emphasize the importance of conscious consumption of strong tea and the need to consider health factors when drinking it. People with cardiovascular problems, especially those taking aspirin or similar drugs, should be especially cautious.
Aside from the fact that strong tea can have a negative impact on physical health, British scientists also suggest an alternative in the form of "coffee tea". However, it is important to consider all aspects and balance your beverage choices with your individual body before making changes to your diet.
