Rustem Umerov shared the results of the 15th meeting in the Ramstein format

The head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, shared the results of the 15th Ramstein meeting. The main goal of this meeting was to prepare the Ukrainian Defense Forces for future challenges and tasks.

According to him, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has identified five key areas that will require the highest attention during the reforms and training of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. These areas include air defense, artillery, aviation, naval forces and armored vehicles.

The Minister said that the participants of the meeting also agreed to establish the Capabilities Coalition initiative.

"Our partners have once again confirmed their commitment to support Ukraine," he emphasized.

Umerov called on international partners to continue to support Ukraine and allocate the necessary resources to meet these priority needs.

He also thanked all participants for their continued support of Ukraine and emphasized that even after nineteen months of intense fighting, the Ukrainian army remains highly motivated and the Ukrainian people are determined to continue the fight.

After the meeting of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense, it became known that the UK plans to supply Ukraine with tens of thousands of shells by the end of this year. This statement was made by the Minister of Defense Grant Shapps.
