Ukraine conducts counteroffensive according to plan

Ukraine is conducting a counteroffensive in accordance with a plan developed jointly with the United Kingdom and the United States, British Defense Secretary James Hippe said. According to him, the course of the operation shows a cautious approach on the part of Ukraine, which is in no hurry to send large contingents of people and Western weapons to the territories densely occupied by Russian mines.

"Kyiv has been cautious" and has kept some capacity to make a breakthrough if necessary, Hippy said. He confirmed that Ukraine is effectively implementing the plan developed last year in cooperation with the UK and the US.

At the same time, the CEO of Ukrenergo urges citizens to prepare for various possible scenarios as the cold season approaches. He emphasized that selling generators is not a reasonable solution, but it is important to ensure sufficient fuel and conduct a technical inspection of the equipment.

The situation on the front line also remains dynamic. The Ukrainian forces are still waiting for the best moment to send the second echelon in the direction of the offensive, the newspaper notes. According to American official sources, the main direction of the counteroffensive began in Zaporizhzhia, involving a significant number of people and Western weapons.

It is worth noting that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, emphasized that the process of counteroffensive is not easy, as a significant part of the territory is captured by the Russian occupiers. Progress on the battlefield has been slower than desired, but Zelenskyy confirmed that the pace of advance is expected to accelerate.
