Ukraine and Japan are strengthening their partnership to implement major critical infrastructure projects. This was announced by Oleksandr Kubrakov, Vice Prime Minister for Recovery, after a meeting with Akihiko Tanaka, President of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

The parties discussed cooperation in the implementation of restoration projects. Ukraine expressed gratitude for JICA's continued support. Both sides expressed their intention to expand the partnership to large long-term projects, especially in the field of critical infrastructure.

One of the key aspects of cooperation will be attracting private investment and cooperation with the business sector. The implementation of such projects is necessary for the development and improvement of infrastructure systems in Ukraine, and will contribute to economic growth and job creation.

Kubrakov emphasized that partnership with Japan is extremely important for Ukraine. Joint projects in the field of critical infrastructure, such as the construction of transportation highways, energy facilities and other important infrastructure systems, will have a positive impact on the country's development.

This initiative will not only strengthen cooperation between Ukraine and Japan, but also support important sectors of Ukraine's economy. Expanding the partnership to large-scale, long-term projects will demonstrate the depth of cooperation and trust between the two countries.

Ukraine is counting on Japan's active support and joint efforts in implementing the projects. The implementation of these projects will be a significant step towards improving the quality of life of Ukrainian citizens and ensuring the country's sustainable development.
