Ukraine has included Georgian Airways in the list of sanctioned entities because it resumed flights to the Russian Federation. However, despite this decision, the company has increased the number of flights between Moscow and Tbilisi.

According to Echo of the Caucasus, Georgian Airways, which began operating regular flights to Russia in May of this year, plans to add three new flights a week on the Tbilisi-Moscow-Tbilisi route.

Journalists note that the airline did not announce this on social media, but has started selling tickets on its website for the new flights, which are scheduled for Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays.

In addition, Russian airline Azimut has also increased the number of flights from Moscow to Tbilisi from 7 to 14 per week.

Thus, the total frequency of flights between the capitals of Russia and Georgia will increase to 24 flights per week.

Despite the sanctions imposed by Ukraine, the increase in the number of flights to Moscow by the Georgian airline demonstrates the company's independence in decision-making and its commitment to meeting passenger demand in this area.
