Some foreign guests visit Ukraine non-publicly, notably a visit by a former US defence secretary, National Security and Defence Council Secretary Oleksiy Danilov, in a TV marathon broadcast on Saturday.

"There are people who visit our capital, it happens almost every day. We have many friends who support us. But not all of them are public and not all of them appear on our television and in the media. For example, yesterday (09.04 - FUMG) we had a meeting with the former US Secretary of Defense, with whom we talked about the situation regarding what is happening in our country".

Danilov also said that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson's visit to Ukraine was preceded by a lot of work: "This trip was prepared for a certain period by the president, the ambassador to the UK and our intelligence services. It was closed and our citizens found out only yesterday when it happened".
