Lithuanian officials, led by Lithuanian Minister of Health Arunas Dulkis and Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to Ukraine Waldemars Sarapinas, paid a two-day visit to Ukraine and plan to support the Ukrainian health system.

This is the first visit of the EU Minister of Health to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. European politicians have seen the terrible consequences of the war that Russia has been waging on our territory for more than a month for themselves. According to Arunas Dulkis, today "Lithuania is ready to help Ukraine with EU integration and become a leader in medical issues in this process."

In the near future, Lithuania will send two professional teams of traumatologists and resuscitators with a full set of equipment and medicines to Ukraine. Lithuanian colleagues will professionally support our doctors, and Ukrainian doctors, in turn, will share their unique experience in emergency situations.
